Fifth Day of Christmas: Glass gift tags

I had a few glass balls left after making the superhero ornaments and was wondering what I could do with them.  I originally thought that I could use sparkly paint and draw a series of swirls on them.  Then I remembered that I’m not terribly artistic – freehand drawing is just not a strength of mine.  So – what about using them for gift tags?!  Great idea, right?

So I gathered the supplies – SO basic.
I needed: the ornaments scrap paper on which to rest them, and a silver leaf pen.
All I had to do was write names on each one and let them sit for a few minutes to dry.  I also wrote the year on the bottom:

Then I added people's names.  Not fancy, but you get the idea:

They’re a little tough to see since I used clear ornaments, but you get the idea!
And, voila! Easy-peasy, not-super-boring gift tags!
